The Viral Awards is a new event designed to showcase the best viral and buzz advertising in principally defined by the way in whitch the viral advert or brand message succeeds at instilling advocacy amongst it’s target group and is passed arround from person to person (peer to peer) without the need for “interruptive” or “paid-for” media.

The viral awards will showcase the very best that medium has to offer, be it the viral element of a larger campaign or the campaign itself.

Typically this can be content passed arround on websites and emails or advertising such as simple text, images, logos, and even advertising that is be passed through word of mouth suc as a catchphrase or slogan.

With new media channels created through the web, image and video enabled telephones, and huge potential for consumer interaction, viral advertising offers stunning new opporutunities for creatives, designers, brand ownbers and their agencies.

The Viral Awards is designed to provide agencies, production companies, designers, marketing visionaries and brand owners with a dedicated opportunity to showcase the art of their work and the breadth of their vision.
