Young Director Award

The Young Director Award was established by the Commercial Film Producers of Europe, and had its debut in 1999. The purpose of the award is to support and promote young creative talent in commercial film production from anywhere in the world.
The competition is for directors in the very beginning of their career. The commercials entered must be among the first four commercials ever made by the director. There are three categories, test commercials, film school commercials and broadcast commercials, and the winners will be awarded at a prestigious award show in Cannes June 22nd 2005 - during the Cannes Lions week.
